Characteristics of PPS:

[ Excellent Thermal property ] Melting point is above 280℃;Heat distortion temperature is above 260℃;long term using temperature is 220-240℃.PPS degrade at 700℃ under air atmosphere and can be hold 40wt% weight even at1000℃ under inertia atmosphere. It have better short and long heat stable than any other engineer plastic .Some kinds of them with modified have heat distortion temperature about 350℃.

[Flame resistance] PPS have flame retardancy of UL94-0 level,Oxygen index(LOI)>57%.The chemical structure of PPS makes it have inherent flame resistance without the necessary for flame-retardant agent.

[ Good Mechanical property ] high stiffness and surface hardness,Rockwell Hardness>100HR, Tensile Strength >170MPa ,Flexural Strength >220MPa, notched Impact Strength >16MPa,Flexural Modulus>3.5×104,excellent creep resistance and ant-fatigue property.

[Outstanding chemical resistance ] No solvent is founded which can dissolve PPS below 200℃. PPS have outstanding chemical resistance to mineral acid, base and salt.

[ Precision mould ability ] in-process shrinkage<0.0025%,water absorption<0.05%,lower linear coefficient of thermal expansion,good dimensional stability under high temperature and humidity

[ Super electrical property ] PPS retain super electrical property under high temperature (humidity, frequency). Electric volume resistance为1×1016Ω.cm,Electric surface resistance=1×1015Ω,Electrical intensity>18KV/mm.

[Friction resistance] By adding PTFE and carbon fiber, the friction resistance of PPS can be increased dramatically . Frictional coefficient=0.01-0.02.

[Anti-radiant property ] anti-radiant property reaches Gy 1×108.Any other engineer plastic can get this level. It is the only ideal material which can be used in the field of electron, machine ,instrument , aeronautics ,aerospace and military for anti-radiant using.

[ Ease process property ] PPS resin have lower melt viscosity and good fluidity. It can be wetted by glass fiber and mineral filled ease. The glass fiber or mineral reinforced inject class Compounds have high tensile/compressive strength , impact strength , flexural Strength and tractility. They all can be molded above their Melting point.

[ Good adhesive bonding property with metal and nonmetal ] PPS have high adhesive bonding Strength with glass ,aluminum ,titanium and stainless steel. Adhesive force comes to 1 level. PPS is adapt to be the lining of the chemical device.
